S.F. Now Dominates Silicon Valley – and Everywhere Else – in VC Funding

While we here at SandHill.com like to spread the love, featuring stories about startups and tech hubs across the country, recent data from PitchBook has brought us back to a stark economic reality: Out of the top 10 most valuable privately funded companies nationally, 9 are headquartered in California – and vastly more are actually based in the city of San Francisco than in legendary Silicon Valley.
