New executives announced at NVIDIA, Microsoft, Sococo, SuccessFactors and other software companies

3-GIS, a Decatur, AL GIS software development company, promoted David Stoner to Product Development Manager. He will assume the daily role and responsibility of executing the 3-GIS roadmap. He had been providing detailed product demonstrations and delivery for 3-GIS and has traveled around the world deploying 3-GIS solutions for telecommunication and utility companies.
Microsoft’s General Manager for the Windows Phone’s developer ecosystem, Charlie Kindel, is departing after 21 years and will work with as an as-yet-undisclosed startup. He stated that the new venture has to do with mobile, the cloud, sports, advertising and social networking.
Cloud9, a Redwood City, CA provider of on-demand sales forecasting and pipeline management solutions, named Tracy Eiler Chief Marketing Officer. She will lead the company’s global marketing strategy and brings more than 25 years of enterprise software marketing experience. Eiler was formerly Vice President of Global Marketing at SaaS-company Postini, where she created a closed-loop lead-to-sale process that resulted in rapid revenue growth. Before that, Eiler spent more than 10 years at business intelligence software firm Business Objects, where she was Vice President of Corporate Marketing and was responsible for driving global awareness. Most recently, she was Senior Vice President of Marketing at MarkLogic.
CargoWise, a Sydney, Australia based logistics software provider, named Owen Senior Head of Global Development. He will lead all software development teams and has responsibility for the company’s global program, along with all technical project management. He is experienced in developing software-as-a-service systems and has global development experience from prior positions as CIO and technical director at companies in the UK and Australia.
DocuSign, a Seattle, WA provider of an electronic signature network, named Keith Krach Chief Executive Officer. He the third CEO at DocuSign in the last 20 months and replaces Steve King who is stepping down to focus on family and nonprofits. Krach was appointed chairman at DocuSign last January. Formerly, he was Chief Executive Officer at 3points.

NVIDIA, a Santa Clara, CA provider of computer graphics technologies, named Steve Scott Chief Technology Officer of Tesla Business Unit. He was formerly Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Cray.
Opscode, a Seattle, WA provider of cloud infrastructure automation solutions, named Mitch Hill Chief Executive Officer. He was formerly Chief Executive Officer at Avanade.
Silver Tail Systems, a Menlo Park, CA provider of predictive analytics for detection and prevention of fraud and abuse for corporate websites, named Nick Edwards Vice President of Marketing and Product Management. He was formerly Director of Product Management and Marketing at Cisco Systems.
Sococo, a Mountain View, CA provider of social communications solutions, named Chris L. Wheeler President. Wheeler was formerly Vice President of Sales at PRTM.
SuccessFactors, a San Mateo, CA provider of cloud-based business execution software, named Kara Wilson Chief Marketing Officer. She was formerly Vice President of Marketing for Communications and Collaboration at Cisco.
SugarCRM, a Cupertino, CA provider of customer relationship management, named Andrew Chmyz Chief Financial Officer. He was formerly Chief Financial Officer at Marimba.
SVTC Technologies, a San Jose, CA developer of nanotechnology, named Jack Sexton Chief Financial Officer. He was formerly a consultant at Philips Lumileds.
