Palo Alto Film Festival

The Palo Alto Int’l Film Festival is a four-day Festival that takes place September 27-30, 2012. Sand Hill is proud to be a sponsor of PAIFF and one of its films: “Decoding Deepak.” It tells the story of filmmaker and journalist Gotham Chopra embarking on a year-long road trip with his father, Deepak Chopra, in an attempt to resolve the spiritual icon he is to the world vs. the real man known to his family. From devoted disciples that range from Lady Gaga to lost souls searching for themselves in the red rock deserts of Sedona, Gotham begins to paint a raw portrait of his dad that only a son can.

The Festival has a strong technology focus and features a film series, talk series, interactive art expo, and an educational youth program. The film program will showcase 50 films that utilize the latest technology in cinema, take creative risks, or tell stories about science and innovation.
