For those of you who enjoy the research, plotting and statistic forecasting that March Madness brings college basketball, Pitchbook has designed its own 68-bracket playoff tournament – March Madness: VC-Founders edition.
The players were selected using data from the Universities Report, outlining what undergrad programs have developed the largest number of starting-players (entrepreneurs) that have been backed by Venture Capitalists.
It’s not without a few upsets that Minnesota, Ohio State, Wisconsin and Iowa have made it into the round of 16 – but only time will tell if we’ll have a Cinderella story on our hands.
